Over the course of the past couple of years fitness trends have rapidly made their way into mainstream fashion. From Alexander Wang and Stella McCartney for Adidas to H & M and Old Navy…Fitness fashion is totally having a MOMENT, and with our health consciouniousness  on the rise, I truly believe the cross-over is here to stay. Just the other day I was walking by Banana Republic and was blown away by the endless array of nods to ones inner athlete. From athletic cut shorts to racing stripes down pants, there is a way to incorporate key ‘athlesiure’ pieces into your everyday wardrobe seamlessly.

This brings me to todays post, and one of my favorite fitness trends I like to incorporate into my everyday style is the SWEATSHIRT. I am not talking about the five dollar Wal-Mart oversize grey sweatshirt, but the cute, fitted, and easily accessorized ones of today. My favorite sweatshirts tend to be ones Wildfox Coutour or  J Crew and even the J Crew Outlet. They are usually lightweight cotton which is breathable all year round, and they can be dressed up or down. I have some short sleeve and some long, but for this time of year when we all have put our winter coats away, but still need a sleeve to be comfortable, here is a great way to dress up a sporty basic, and of course…rep my favorite city in the world.

Love and Sweatshirt Chic,

Taylor
