You guys, how did we get here? I am officially in the single digit weekly countdown. This pregnancy has been a rollercoaster in so many ways. From morning sickness to exhaustion, I felt like I was limping along for a long time. Everyone says: different babies, different personalities, different experiences, but why didn’t I listen? LOL
With that said, the second we received the call that a healthy baby girl was on the way, our hearts doubled in size. All you can truly ask for is a healthy baby and pregnancy, so receiving the news of a little girl was purely the rainbow sprinkles on my favorite confetti cupcake.
Now that we are in the third trimester, I am ready to dive into all the things we need for a second baby. Thankfully, buybuy BABY took care of us first time around. So now, we really only need the bare essentials. This experience has also been so different because we are still battling a worldwide Pandemic. I try my best not to go into stores unless absolutely necessary, so I was able to book a 1:1 consultant with a buybuy Baby associate here in Miami. It was a great shopping experience from start to finish. He is about to become a first time dad and we had some laughs on our 30-minute zoom call. I added everything we needed to my registry from the comfort of my master bedroom. It was honestly so nice to have everything just show up at our home!
I enjoyed the experience immensely and since this is my second time around, I feel much more at ease. CJ, on the other hand, may be less than thrilled.

Here are the big ticket items we picked up for baby girl:
Babyletto 3-Drawer Changer Dresser : Since we only have 3 bedrooms, we wanted to create a nursery that also serves as a guest room. This set from Babyletto fit our specs and needs perfectly. I also love the acrylic front!
Babyletto Harlow 3-in-1 Convertible Crib with Toddler Bed Conversion Kit: I am obsessed with the black one, but we wanted something a bit softer and went with the white.
DockATot® Deluxe+ Cover (Dock Sold Separately): We have a Dock-A-Tot deluxe in white, but CJ’s spit up and who knows what else stained it. So, instead of buying a new one, we replaced the cover with this adorable print. They sell out and restock fairly often, so just keep checking back!
BABYBJÖRN® Bouncer Bliss Bundle with Toy: We did not have a great baby seat for CJ. This one not only came highly recommended by store associates, but also by friends and family alike. We live in a townhouse, so I wanted something easily transportable.
Ingenuity™ DreamComfort™ Pemberton™ SmartBounce Automatic Bouncer™ : This was also another highly recommended, more inexpensive option.

Arm’s Reach Clear-Vue™ Co-Sleeper® in White: This one came highly recommended on my zoom call with the buybuyBaby sales associate.
Honestly, we have a pack and play with changer top that worked great with CJ. We just need to make sure we have all of the pieces. I am laughing as I type this because, I just remember the insane amount of stuff we had for CJ by 6 months.
I also stocked up on cute onesies and fun shoes and bows from buybuy BABY and will stock up on diapers, nipples and pacifiers as we get closer. I am so thankful to be able to partner with them again and have all of our families babies needs taken care of from head to toe.
