Propel CO:LABS Miami Featuring The Vixen Workout, Fast Twitch & Gunnar Peterson

Miami CO:LABS went off without a hitch thanks to Propel Water! Thank you for sponsoring this content and allowing me the opportunity to share all of the “ugly” with my readers! As always, all opinions are my own.

The “Iron Twins” are creating “Iron Baby Boys”

Welcome to Miami. Bienvenidos a Miami. Propel CO:LABS kicked off last week, and to say that we had F-U-N would be an understatement. I was able to bring my favorite fit-friends to the CO:LABS and experience the Miami fitness community in a whole new way! We started the afternoon listening to a jam-packed panel that included creative directors, trainers and creators of: Fly Wheel Sports , Green Monkey Yoga,  The Vixen Workout and Fast Twitch!

We then got to hear from Miami’s king of nightlife: David Grutman and his right hand man Carlos Quirarte. David is the owner of LIV, Story, Kimoto and OTL, and is the epitome of what it means to live the “American Dream”! He started his career as a bartender and worked almost every job in the night life industry. His motto is that “No one is above me.”, and as you can see, it serves him well. If you have ever been to Miami then you have most likely danced until dawn in one of his clubs, ate in one of his restaurants and now you can sip coffee and enjoy avocado toast in his coffee shops. Everything he has touched in Miami has turned into gold, and his biggest piece of advice for all of my friends in business, “focus on your PR and branding, then sit back and enjoy”.

Gunnar Peterson

Last but not least, we got to hear from the man himself: Gunnar Peterson! Gunnar has shot to stardom over the past few years and is known by many is pop-culture as the “Kardashian Trainer”; however, he is so much more than that! He is humble, knowledgable and has a fierce passion for soaking in all that the fitness industry has to offer. He is the first to admit his faults, but he also knows hi worth. I loved hearing him speak, and was even more humbled by his interest in Miami Fitness.

A quote by Gunnar that resonated with me is: “The real will rise to the top”. No matter what industry you are in, if you live your truth, have no ulterior motives and have a fierce passion for what you do. You will rise to the T-O-P. As bloggers, moms, trainers, accountants, teachers etc. etc. etc. “Gunner says: You are competing with the force of yourself. ” I love the sound of that! Often times, our heads can be our worst enemy. So let;s try to wake up every day this week trying to be the best you can be!

Gunnar, please accept a huge THANK YOU from the entire Miami Fitness community.

Now Comes the U-G-L-Y !

From L to R (Naomi Grace-Model/Crunch Instructor), Me (TWF), Angie L(NBC6 Weather) Amanda M. (Creator of Icon Sportif and Miami CPT)

The first class of the CO:LABS was The Vixen Workout by Janet Jones. The Vixen Workout’s intense Hip-Hop cardio has taken the dance fitness scene by storm. Inspired by moves performed by your favorite artists and the Miami nightlife, this women’s only Dance Workout delivers easy to learn combinations that provide a full body workout and an experience unlike any other. New Vixen’s can expect to burn  400-600 calories and once you have the moves down you can burn up to 1,000 calories in one class! I loved the “girl power” atmosphere and the femininity that I felt throughout the class. The Vixen Workout is not just a Miami thing. Vixen Classes are also offered in: New York, New Jersey, Denver, L.A., Chicago, Las Vegas and The Dominican Republic.

Fast Twitch

Last but certainly not least was a ride at FlyWheel Sports. I did not get to attend the event at FlyWheel, but if you follow me on Instagram then you may have seen my ride from last week.
