I just love being a girl! Don’t you? For as long as I can remember, I have loved all things girly; dresses, makeup, ballet and everything in between. I hate to use the word girl lightly because, let’s face it, girls can wear high heels, run fortune 500 companies and be kick-ass mothers all at the same time. I love the fact that being a girl means wearing many hats and having tons of fun with fashion and beauty [if that is what you choose to do….boys holler if you hear me]. Lately, I have really been having a lot of fun creating content based on my lifestyle as a whole. When I first started TWF, I thought everything needed to solely be based on health and fitness, but then I also realized, I branded my name, and I want to share all of me…with all of with you [thanks John Legend]! I love fitness and regular fashion, and like to incorporate a little more than athleisure into my weekend wardrobe. A fun fact you may not have known about me is that I actually won best dressed in high school wearing an $8.00 dress from Wet Seal! Yup, WET SEAL, and as a model and dancer , I have picked up quite a few makeup and beauty tips along the way! So, thats just my way of justifying my expertise.
Now onto the point on this post-my fall beauty obsessions! With summer coming to a close, September is a time for a fresh start. School started yesterday, and we are all anticipating pumpkin spice and football. The summer sun may have taken a toll on our hair and skin and I will share with you what beauty picks are going to help me fall ahead.
PW is an all natural deodorant that actually works! Do I still sweat? Heck yes! But I no longer stink like a 300 LB linebacker. I also love knowing that I am not putting chemicals next to my breast tissue. I fell in love with the product after seeing it on shark tank, and I now order three jars at a time, and yes, like everything else on this list, I pay for all of this product!
Anything that says rare is definitely intriguing, and the packaging is tots to die for! The lightweight oil is great for travel and is a wonderful overnight treatment after a shoot. I also love the way the serum help keep my locks glowing and lustrious after a blow out.
Since I began selling Rodan + Fields Skincare last year, and working a ton, I am more aware of my skin from day to day. I like to nourish it from the inside out and outside in. Since my acne is now under control, and foundation-free thanks to Unblemish, I picked up a few new products to help get rid of my post-acne scarring and mild sun damage. Last week, I had a mole on my face that I has gotten darker and a little misshaped. Since skin cancer runs in my family, and since I live in the sunshine state, I decided to have it removed and tested. Better safe than sorry! I have had the roller sitting around for a while, but decided to start using it on the scar. Much to my surprise it has helped plump my skin and has not allowed the mark to raise or discolor. I am definitely going to continue using this bad boy for anti-aging purposes!
Rodan +Fields Multi Function Eye Cream
This eye cream sells out all the time! Why? Well it works. Google image this bad boy and prepare to be amazed! This little jar lasts over 60-days and I use it every morning and every night. The fine lines around my eyes have disappeared and I arrive to set looking more refreshed with every use!
The Miami heat means more curls! I have been trying to wear my hair curly lately and finally pulled the plug on buying Miss Jessies. It cuts the frizz and leaves me with soft, bouncy curls!
IMAN Bronzer/Highlighter Palette
This compact was one of those last minute cart throws and I am so happy I did! It is so pigmented and scrumptious that I have another rosie palette that would would easily work for light skin tones as well!

I had a threading job gone wild! I now go to Anastasia in Nordstrom to get my brows done and neuBROW is helping them grow in thicker for that ‘brow on fleek’ look! I scooped up double at the #Nsale this year!
My Willy Fit sister and Girl Boss Jam Murphy and her partner Ivy Ice created this kick-butt brand of semi-matte lipsticks that are soon to be for sale in Free People! The colors are to die for and I would go with Not His Wife and WhosTheDaddy for fall.
Like I said above…I am battling a brow situation…and I now get the brows done at Anastasia; however, I purchased this brow pencil at Sephora. lol It goes on smooth and helps give me perfect brows every time I use it.
Makeup Forever Concealer Palette
Mixed skin is the most confusing skin ever! Especially when I get tan or than tan begins to fade. I love this palette because I can mix colors and help correct dark circles and marks when they appear.
Rodan and Fields Mineral Peptides
I try to be makeup free on my off days, and castings do not allow pancake makeup! I love my mineral peptides because they match my skin tone well, do not sink into my pores, and they offer much needed daily SPF! They offer a bit of coverage and a whole lot of radiance.
