As you may know from my previous posts, I have had a thing for graphic T-Shirts with quirky or inspirational sayings on them since my days working at Abercrombie & Fitch in high school. This look is a little more grown-up and if you work in a creative environment it would be more than appropriate. I saw the T-Shirt/blazer combo for the first time when I danced for the Nets. The heads of entertainment consistently paired tees with power suits, and the look was both laid back and corporate at the same time. Perfect for the fast paced world of professional sports world.
So be brave, find the shirt that suites your style, a lightweight blazer and your longest pair of shorts. Throw on your favorite pair of heels, a statement structured bag and you are ready to tackle any meeting before heading straight into the afternoon sun! This is probably one of the most ‘high-low’ mix and match outfits to date and luckily for me I found some of these amazing pieces at my fav TJ Maxx.
