Wife. Foodie. Home Fitness Junkie. is my mantra, and these days wife comes first and foremost. With our crazy schedules making time for each other is of the utmost importance. After moving all over the country these past few years we are so thankful to not only be husband and wife, but truly friends who make each other laugh and cheer each other in all that we do. We are half way through our first year of marriage, and after enjoying every chaotic second of our 2.5 year engagement (yes, people thought we were crazy) the biggest question we get is “How is married life?”. Plain and simple for us…thankfully, nothing has changed. We still get excited to see each other everyday, I still don’t put the cap back on the toothpaste, he leaves the laundry on top of the hamper and plain and simple, we laugh…A LOT.
When you are with the same person for long periods of time, and Yes! We are in this for the long haul the need to impress your spouse may sometimes fly out the window. They have seen you at your best and of course at your worst , but those moments where I come downstairs for date night and my hubby says “wow, you look beautiful” still make my heart skip a beat. There are many days where women do not feel their best and it is up to our men to build us up! But, what about when they need some spark in their lives from the woman they love? They do say “The way to a mans heart mans heart is through his stomach”, and I believe that is the truth! But, a sexy wife-life couldn’t hurt either. 🙂
